Launched in May 2017. Globitex is a centralized exchange headquartered in Latvia that focuses on the EU region. It has offices in London, UK, Riga, Latvia, and Vilnius, Lithuania. It supports EUR fiat pairs with dedicated IBAN accounts for customers through its EURO Wallet (https://globitex.com/euro-wallet).

Its group company, Nexpay UAB ( https://www.lb.lt/en/sfi-financial-market-participants/uab-nexpay), has an E-money licence. Its cybersecurity measures include mandatory 2FA, multisignature addresses for hot and cold wallets, session takeover protection, and brute-force login protection.
